A man was taken to an area hospital after he crashed a Ford Explorer into a utility pole just before 7 a.m. Friday in Greenwich Township.
The wreck shut westbound Route 57 near Richline Road, but traffic got by in an alternating pattern in the eastbound lane. Traffic returned to normal about 7:45 a.m.
Township police were still compiling the report on Friday morning so the driver's name wasn't immediately available, but they said the injuries weren't life-threatening.
Township rescue personnel as well as the Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the call.
