Livestock, cars, tractor pulls -- it's fair season in Warren County.
The Warren County Farmers' Fair kicked off its 79th year Saturday at the count fairgrounds in Harmony Township, where families watched garden tractors show their strength and checked out animals, games and exhibitions.
Saturday's scheduled events also included a wrestling tournament, truck show, and performances by actors from Wild West City in Sussex County.
Strange contests abound at county fair
The fair, which also includes a hot air balloon festival, runs through Aug. 6. A mass balloon launch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. each day.
Rain forced Saturday's balloon launch to be cancelled, but the fair's other events are continuing, organizers said.
