Moe's Southwest Grill opened a new location Thursday off Route 248 in Palmer Township.
They say there's no such thing as a free lunch. But Moe's Southwest Grill is putting an end to that old adage.
The restaurant chain, which opened a new location Thursday in Palmer Township, celebrated by giving away free burritos for a year to the first 50 customers.
Burrito lovers began lining up Wednesday night.
Frank Tirino, of Forks Township, actually huddled under a tarp as he spent the night outside in hopes of snagging the yearlong giveaway. Tirino had his prayers answered as he nabbed the No. 1 spot.
The new location is in the Northwood Center strip mall at 3509 Nazareth Road (Route 248), next door to the SuperCuts. Moe's Southwest Grill has two other locations in the Lehigh Valley, in Bethlehem and South Whitehall Township.
