The Stateliners lost to Watchung Hills 5-4.
Phillipsburg third baseman Masha Corbett tied the game against Watchung Hills 4-4 with an RBI single in the fifth inning on Wednesday.
Corbett's hit scored shortstop Sarah Stiehler.
Watchung Hills went on to win the NJSIAA North 2, Group 4 quarterfinal 5-4 with a run in the sixth inning.
