No one was hurt in either fire.

The causes of the Feb. 10 caboose fire and Thursday's house blaze at 60 Lewis St. in Phillipsburg are undetermined, Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke said.

"Neither are considered suspicious," he said.

Historic caboose gutted in fire

Lehigh and Hudson River Railway Caboose No. 16 was reported burning just before 4 a.m. Feb. 10. The piece of equipment at the Phillipsburg Railroad Museum was gutted and considered "priceless," according to a rail historian.

The house fire displaced four people and heavily damaged the second floor of the single-family rental home.

No one was hurt in either incident.
