One-day getaway: Phillipsburg group offers three bus trips

Choose between trips to The Bronx, Cape May or an old fashioned paddleboat tour, or go on all three!

The Morning Angels, a Kaleidoscope Hatter group from Phillipsburg, formed in 2004, is sponsoring serveral bus trips:

  A bus trip for the River Lady Lunch Cruise plus Pier Village leaves Phillipsburg at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 24. This Paddleboat Lunch Cruise includes historical commentary by the captain. The cost is $90 with choice of entree.

• On Saturday, May 6 a trip to Cape May, Smithville Village and Lobster House (lunch extra) leaves Phillipsburg at 8:30 a.m. Expected return is 9 p.m. The cost is $50.

• The Bronx Zoo and Arthur Avenue (Little Italy of the Bronx) is the destination of a June 11 trip, which leaves Phillipsburg at 9:30 a.m. and returns at 8 p.m. The cost is $45. Zoo admission ($10-$22) is extra.

All trips leave from St. Philip and James School, 137 Roseberry St. Pickup at the Bethlehem Township Park N Ride is available by request only. All reservations may be made by calling Camille at 908-387-0001.
