A two-month drug investigation concluded Thursday with a search-and-seizure operation in Phillipsburg, and the arrest of a 59-year-old man, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday.
Raymond Carter, of the 200 block of Hudson Street, is accused of dealing heroin after 97 folds of the drug were found in the home, along with more than 50 grams of marijuana, the prosecutor's news release said.
Carter is charged with four counts of third-degree possession of heroin, five counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute heroin, three counts of third-degree distribution of heroin and one count of fourth-degree possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana. He was additionally charged with one count of violating a temporary restraining order.

The more serious offenses could each result in five years in prison if Carter is convicted.
Phillipsburg police and the prosecutor's narcotics unit conducted Thursday's search.
