A Warren County fugitive was indicted this week on charges alleging he sexually assaulted two children over nearly a decade.
David Ortiz-Soledad, 43, faces nine charges for the alleged assaults that began in 2002, according to the grand jury's indictment.
Ortiz-Soledad's last known address is in the first block of Fulton Street in Phillipsburg and his whereabouts are unknown. He was Warren County's fugitive of the week May 20.
The assaults allegedly began in April 2002 with a victim who was 11 years old at the time. He began assaulting a 6-year-old in 2003, the indictment says. The charges indicate crimes continued at various times with both children until October 2011.
The charges say Ortiz-Soledad was known to both victims.
He is charged with three counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, and two counts each of second-degree sexual assault, third-degree aggravated sexual contact and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Ortiz-Soledad is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
