The Vikings went unbeaten in the meet at Phillipsburg. The Stateliners finished third.

Voorhees' girls rolled past four foes to win the initial Skyland Conference Raritan Division championship race at the Phillipsburg Athletic Complex Wednesday.

The meet brought all five Raritan Division teams together in one race that scored as separate dual meets. The idea is to limit the number of dual meets and settle the division championship in one day.

The Vikings, ranked No. 3 in the region by lehighvalleylive, topped Montgomery and Phillipsburg by identical 23-34 scores, topped Watchung Hills 20-39 and shut out Franklin 15-50 to win the division.

Viking sophomore Lauren Wagner won the race in 19 minutes and 37 seconds. Voorhees junior Nikki Cassavell was second in 20:14 and senior Lexi Churley took sixth in 21:19.

Phillipsburg finished third overall, The Stateliners fell 24-31 to Montgomery but topped Watchung Hills 23-34 and blanked Franklin 15-50. P'burg was led by junior Rachel Herrman in fourth overall in 21:06. Juniors Bella Beviss and Alison Nicinski finished ninth and 10th overall in 22:18 and 22:44, respectively.
