Phillipsburg’s girls cross country team ran to a fifth-place finish in the Varsity B race at Saturday’s Six Flags Wild Safari Invitational at the theme park in Jackson Township.
The Stateliners finished with 154 team points. Colts Neck won with 43.
P’burg’s first two runners were juniors Rachel Herrman and Bella Beviss, who finished 12th and 13th overall in 20 minutes, 5 seconds and 20:06 respectively.
