The Stateliners won 14 games last season.

PHILLIPSBURG
Conference: Skyland, Raritan Division

2016 record: 14-9 overall

Players to watch: Sr. P/3B Masha Corbett, Sr. P/CF Meghan LeMar, So. SS Sarah LeMar, Fr. C Jewel Gonzalez, So. 1B Ashley Warner, Sr. 2B Ashley Gargone, Sr. OF Jocelyn Dipple, Sr. 3B Becca Riley.

Outlook: Stateliners coach Kristin Boyer is hoping the seniors to step up and set the tone for the younger players this season. Two of the top seniors for Phillipsburg will be Masha Corbett and Meghan LeMar. Boyer thinks several younger players could make a big difference in the lineup this spring, especially Sarah LeMar, Jewel Gonzalez and Ashley Warner.

From coach Kristin Boyer: "No single player is going to carry this team. To be successful, we must play as a unit; each girl playing selflessly for the person standing next to them. I believe that this team has what it takes to play as a unit, picking each other up and producing runs as a group. This unity is where we will find success."
